Welcome to JM Robson Aquatic Centre
J M Robson Aquatic Centre is your aquatic facility serving the Lithgow and surrounding community.
Our indoor facilities offer you a heated 25-metre swimming pool with space for lap swimming as well as recreation swimming, with our pool depth ranging from 0.7m to 1.5m there is space for everyone. We have also installed a sauna facility which now runs during our opening hours and is suitable for any patron over 16 years of age.
Outdoor facilities include a 50-metre lap swimming pool and a hydroplay pool with a shaded grandstand and grassed area with picnic tables. This pool is open from October until April each summer season.
J M Robson Aquatic Centre is open seven days a week, with our indoor facility open all year round.

Indoor Pool Winter Operating Hours
Lithgow City Council advises that coming into winter and much colder weather, the weekend opening hours of the J M Robson Aquatic Centre will become limited.
From Saturday 1st June 2024, the indoor pool will close at 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday. These hours will continue through until spring when the Centre will return to its summer operating hours and the outdoor facilities are re-opened.
For the winter months, the opening hours of the J M Robson Aquatic Centre will be:
- Monday to Friday: 6am-7pm
- Weekends: 8am-4pm, and
- Public Holidays: 8am-4pm.
